Black bean pie



  1. Spread mixture on bottom crust.
  2. Top with flour tortilla.
  3. Spread ⅓ of bean mixture over tortilla.
  4. Top with layer of shredded cheese.
  5. Repeat layers—tortilla, ⅓ of bean mixture, and layer of shredded cheese -- to make three layers in all.
  6. Cover top layer of cheese mixture with remaining pie crust.
  7. Cut slits in crust to vent.
  8. Bake for 40–50 minutes in 350°F oven.
  9. Let stand five minutes before serving.
