Ingredients[]

  • 4 tomatoes,seeded and quartered
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 1 sweet green pepper, sliced
  • 8 radishes
  • 2 lettuce hearts
  • 4 ribs celery
  • 1 x 6½ oz. can tuna
  • 8 anchovy fillets
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
  • 8 ripe olives

Salad dressing[]

  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • fresh basil leaves, coarsely chopped

Directions[]

  1. Combine the prepared vegetables in a salad bow, arranging the tuna , and quartered eggs on top.
  2. Mix the salad dressing and sprinkle over the salad.
